Alas Sir William will be haunted for the rest of his life…..
Anyway life must go on so upon his suggestion I undertook the task of setting up a game.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_of_5_October_1804An act of piracy
After being presented with a British outrageous proposal the glorious and brave Spanish commander, Rear Admiral José de Bustamante y Guerra, opened fire on the inferior British frigate Indefatigable. And then all hell broke loose..
Within 3 turns the brave Spanish Admiral had one ship surrendered and one sunk.
Refusing to surrender Bustamante and his ship Medea (40) valiantly fought on. To the amazement of the British numbnuts Bustamante’s ship took shoot after shoot and almost single handed outfought them. But now as one of the valiant Spanish Captains chose to retreat and save the king’s gold, Bustamante and his ship was hit again and again and finally sunk beneath the waves. Glory and honour will surely await them in the heavens.
After the Battle the British king, not satisfied with the treasure of one ship, ordered the involved British Captains to be struck of the list in dishonour!
Thank you for a great game guys!
