Reminds me of the movie Glory only in WW2, but the aerial scenes look great.. ME.262 yess..

e8n2 I will not waste my time on this. It could have been good, as we really need a good, factual movie about the Tuskegee Airmen. However, all the B-17s shown had 8th AF markings, which was northern Europe. The 332nd FG was under the 12th and 15th AF in the Mediterranean and Italy. Would it really have been that difficult to put the correct AF markings on the tails of CGI aircraft?????? By mid 1944 nearly all of the bombers had natural metal finish, not OD over gray. Is it that difficult to get it right????? I also did not see any B-24s in the trailer either. Is it too difficult to come up with a CGI B-24????? This reminds me of that other POS Flyboys where all the Germans were flying Fokker Triplanes and the Lafayette Escadrille only had Nieuport 17s. Another glaring error is the yellow stripe on the tail of the German fighters with the swastika inside that. More inaccurate BS. Take the time to properly research the subject before making the movie and get it done right. The quick part showing a German destroyer blowing up after being attacked by one of the 99th FS (the only Tuskegee unit in the Med at the time of the incident depicted) is true. But if all of the names are fictionalized, then what honor is being done to the pilot who actually accomplished it? So Hollywood, since you can never get things right about the 332nd FG in World War II, maybe you could try some fresh territory within the same general area and do a FACTUAL with REAL NAMES movie about the Freeman Field Mutiny? Find the book by Lt. Col James Warren (Ret). Interesting note - the late Coleman Young, former Mayor of Detroit, was one of the "Mutineers".

fair nok at man i 1950'erne ikke sådan lige kan finde 20 køreklare tiger tanks, men at bruge gråmalede M74 Pattons uden så meget som at give dem lidt papmaché er vist en større helligbrøde en den med de sorte flyboys....
